the requirements below:
- You will need to fill an online application and submit on the PMI® website below:

- You will need to document 35 hours of formal Project management training. This could be in form of classes,
seminars, workshops, training sessions etc. Be prepared to state
the class title, location, date and course contents while filling the application for the PMP® exams.
- Apart from filling the application form and documenting your Project management training you will need to
satisfy additional criteria below.
You could belong to one of the 2 categories.
- The first category is for those who hold a Bachelors degree. You will need to provide evidence of your degree
via transcript or your certificate during the application. In addition to this you will need to complete a Project
management experience verification form documenting 4500 hrs of Project management experience that spans a minimum
of 3 years and not more than 6 years.
- The Second category is for those who do not hold a Bachelors degree,
but hold a secondary school certificate or equivalent. You will need to
provide evidence of your education via transcript or your certificate during the application.
In addition to this you will need to complete a Project management experience verification form documenting
7500 hrs of Project management experience that spans a minimum of 5 years and not more than 8 years.
- After you meet the three criteria above; you should submit your application and wait for 5 working days for
review of your application by the PMI®. If you are approved to take the examination. You will need to make payment.
The exams fee is $555 for non PMI® members and $405 for PMI® members. The exams can be scheduled online after payment
is received by PMI®. Testing is conducted by the Thompson Prometric center. You find one closest to you at the PMI® website.
The examinations consist 200 multiple choice questions. The are 4 answer options to each question on the exams.
Sometimes all the answer options are corrrect and you will need to pick the most correct option.
The exams will last for 4 hours. Only 175 of the 200 questions are scored and the remaining 25
questions are use by PMI® for statistical purposes to determine if the questions should be used for future exams.
